We are over the moon to announce that Blue Octopus Recruitment have, once again, gained recognition at the 2017 Onrec Awards for the fifth year running. This year we have been nominated for four awards, these are listed below. The event will be held on Thursday 9th March at The Grange St Pauls Hotel in London.
And the nominations are…
The Creative Online Marketing Award – Supplier
Over the past year, Blue Octopus has gone through some significant business process changes to improve the service that we offer. We have adapted to fully promote client branding, increase the reach of vacancies and the usability of the candidate experience along with a range of other improvements. These changes were made within ‘Octo’ and are visibly available on our new website. The website is the result of over 12 months’ work by our digital team and has now been shortlisted for an Onrec award. Well done to our digital boffins!
The Creative Offline Marketing Award – Supplier
The marketing team have done it again and have been shortlisted once more, adding to the other two ‘’Creative Offline Marketing Awards’’. The work that goes on behind the scenes creating such things as our innovative company brochure, which is used to explain our service to potential new clients, has been noticed once again.
The Best Online Candidate Experience – Recruiter
Great service and support is just one of the reasons that has made Blue Octopus Recruitment what it is to date. The service team are always on hand to assist candidates throughout their application journey and it is an honour to be recognised for ‘’The Best Online Candidate Experience Award’’ for the second year running, having come away as winners last year.
The Unsung Hero of the Year – Marc Wrench
Marc has been a pioneer with the progression of our Octo software, which has grown from strength to strength, in the three years since he joined the business. Marc does an amazing job in his role as ‘Head of IT’ and it has not gone unnoticed as this is the second year running that he has been shortlisted for ‘The Unsung Hero of the Year Award’.
Let’s hope that after Thursday 9th March we will be in need of a bigger trophy cabinet here at Octo House.
